To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he will expedite a driving test for a motorcyclist (details supplied) given that their two-year IBT certificate will expire in December 2023 and yet he cannot secure a test for a motorcycle for the next six months; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Under the Road Safety Authority Act 2006, the Road Safety Authority (RSA) has statutory responsibility for the National Driver Testing Service. Consequently, information on applicants is held by the RSA and neither I nor my Department have the power to intervene in individual cases.
