To ask the Minister for Health if, further to a response provided by the HSE (details supplied), he will confirm that the lack of a full public health nurse service in the CHO7 region is the reason for the delay in the discharge of a patient; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
