To ask the Minister for Education and Skills to detail the system for the maintenance and recycling of specialist equipment for children with physical disabilities, such as specialist seating and changing tables; whether other schools or organisations can avail of such equipment when they are no longer needed in the school of origin; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Furniture & Equipment Scheme is a devolved project and, as such, the responsibility for the management of the equipment, once purchased, is a matter for the relevant school authority.
