Officials in my Department have been in touch with CORU to follow up on purported delays in processing this application for recognition of non-Irish qualifications. CORU have confirmed that this applicant applied for recognition of his qualifications and paid the recognition fee on 9th May, 2023. CORU sent an email to the applicant on 16th May, 2023 to indicate there was information missing from his application.

Some of the missing information was submitted by the applicant and received on 26th May, 2023. However, not all the requested additional information was submitted by the applicant. A further email was issued by CORU to request further detail on 13th June, 2023.

The outstanding information requested from the applicant as of 13th June, 2023 is indicated below:

  • CORU verification form for his employment;
  • Confirmation on whether he wishes to add another qualification; and
  • Clarification on the title of the research project carried out.
Once the above information has been received and confirmed by CORU, they will be able to proceed with the application and the applicant will be notified of same.
