147. To ask the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment if the Environmental Protection Agency tests all rivers for the quality of the water to establish their suitability for swimming and water activities. [26763/23]

The EPA is an independent public body established under the Environmental Protection Agency Act 1992 and is entirely independent in the exercise of its functions.
