To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government if he is aware that many successful applicants for the croí cónaithe fund schemes are unable to draw down the grant because one of the terms of the grant is that a legal charge be placed on the property (details supplied); if he will remove the legal charge stipulation or the clawback aspect from the grant eligibility criteria, as a significant percentage of the individuals hoping to avail of this scheme will require a mortgage; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
