612. To ask the Minister for Health if he will provide an update on the availability of sunosi, which is used to treat narcolepsy and obstructive sleep apnoea in Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3238/23]

The Marketing Authorisation Holder for Sunosi, TMC Pharma (EU) Limited, has not placed the product on the Irish market since being granted a marketing authorisation in 2020.

The HSE has confirmed that Sunosi (solriamfetol) was approved for reimbursement under High Tech Arrangements subject to managed access. However, the company have not been in a position to launch the product to date.
