I would like to thank the Deputy for his question. As this is an operational matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
I would also like to advise the Deputy of housing grants that are available from local authorities for older people. For example, the Mobility Aids Grant scheme provides grant aid to cover a basic suite of works to address mobility problems, primarily, but not exclusively, associated with ageing. Further information is available from your local authority g Grants - SDCC.
