To ask the Minister for Health if a value-for-money and policy review has been performed of the continuous positive airway pressure therapy funding schemes with particular focus on the impact of treatment non-compliance in Ireland given the potential for substantial cost savings through the rolling costs of device rental schemes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Health Service Executive (HSE) has statutory responsibility for decisions on pricing and reimbursement of medicines and medical goods, in accordance with the Health (Pricing and Supply of Medical Goods) Act 2013. The HSE also has statutory responsibility for the administration of the community health schemes. Therefore, this matter has been referred to the HSE for attention and direct reply to the Deputy, as soon as possible.
