The Office of Public Works has secured a funding commitment from Fáilte Ireland to improve visitor facilities at Casino Marino through provision of a new visitor welcome facility (including café and retail space) additional visitor car parking and improvements to the landscape. This proposed development may include provision of access/egress from Malahide Road.

The proposed development will be subject to the usual planning processes with the Local Authority and will require consent from the Minister of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht as the Casino is a designated National Monument.
