309. To ask the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the legal costs to date in 2017 regarding the demolition of the Moore Street historical site; the estimated cost if it is heard in the appeal court and in the Supreme Court; and the Department that will incur those costs. [29579/17]

326. To ask the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the amount it has cost in legal fees to date in 2017 on challenging the High Court ruling against the Minister and a company (details supplied) of March 2016; the origin of the moneys used; the amount her Department has costed the case if it is heard in the appeal court or in the Supreme Court; and the location from which that finance is coming. I propose to take Questions Nos. 309 and 326 together.

The cost of the legal proceedings, and any award of related liabilities, will only be determined when the ongoing appeals against the High Court judgments have been finally concluded. Accordingly, any discussion of costs, and on whom they might be levied, would be entirely premature and speculative at this stage.
