To ask the Minister for Finance if the Revenue Commissioners can take a family income supplement payment from the Department of Social Protection from a person's bank account in circumstances in which the Commissioners have an attachment order on the person's bank accounts; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am advised that Revenue are in the process of obtaining details of the specific case from the Deputy.
I note that he has a similar question for tomorrow 17 May (PQ23994/17) and I understand that Revenue expect to be able to address the issues raised in today’s question when responding to the latter.
