Any child who was granted a pro rataarrangement to split their ECCE place over two preschool years for 2015/2016 and 2016/2017, will now be entitled to receive five days per week on the ECCE programme for the year 2016/17, as a result of the expansion of the ECCE programme in September 2016. In the case of the individual specified by the Deputy, this person will be entitled to five days per week on the ECCE programme for 2016/2017 and officials from my Department have been in contact with Better Start to update them on this matter.
