880. To ask the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if the current INTERREG programme funding of approximately €258 million and the current PEACE programme funding of €250 million will be honoured by the EU in order that the many projects due to commence by mid-summer can commence, including those projects planned for completion post-Brexit. As the Deputy will appreciate, I am not in a position to answer on behalf of the EU in relation to the availability of EU funding as a consequence of the UK referendum on EU membership. I can assure him, however, of the Irish Government's continuing commitment to the successful implementation of the PEACE and INTERREG Programmes, and my officials and I are working to that end.
