To ask the Minister for Health the number of suitably qualified staff that have been part of the initiative undertaken by the HSE to train and upskill to become orthodontic therapists; the details of the pilot scheme and the number of patients who are under treatment; the progress being made to expand this initiative to other regional orthodontic departments; and if he will make a statement to the matter.
