370. To ask the Minister for Justice and Equality when she will ensure that all survivors of the Magdalen laundries will receive HAA cards as proposed in the recommendations of Justice Quirke's report; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4589/15]

The Government is committed to full implementation of Judge Quirke's recommendations on the provision of medical services. The legislative vehicle to achieve this is the Redress for Women Resident in Certain Institutions Bill 2014 which has passed Second Stage in the Dail. When this is enacted, the Department of Health and the Health Service Executive will introduce a scheme and I understand that as part of that scheme an enhanced medical card will be provided to the women concerned.
