Since 2011 there has been a reduction of 18% in the total number of sick days taken in my Department and a 34% reduction in cost. This is due to the implementation of an Attendance Management Policy in my Department in 2011 which incorporates a stronger approach to the management and reduction of sick leave in the Department.
