My officials and I meet with a number of organisations from time to time to discuss matters of interest to my Department, including general investor interest in Irish investment opportunities. My officials and I have met with Lone Star as well as other similar organisations to discuss their ongoing interest in investment opportunities in Ireland. These discussions are general in nature and would usually include general expressions of interest in various investment opportunities including sales by NAMA, IBRC and other sellers of Irish assets. However, the sale of these assets remains a matter for the owners of the assets.
