I propose to take Questions Nos. 153 and 154 together.

The meeting referred to in my previous reply is scheduled to take place on 28 May in Listowel and I will accompanied by two officials from my Department. I understand that I will be meeting the owners of the land as well as an adviser. Any proposal that comes before me or my Department will be considered on its own merits. The provisions of European and National law relating to proposals for development within Special Areas of Conservation and Special Protection Areas have been outlined to the owners and to their advisers at various meetings with my predecessors and with officials over the past few years.
