I am advised by the Garda authorities that the tender competition to retain the services of a vehicle auctioneer has been completed and it is expected that the contract will be awarded in the coming weeks. In addition, I understand that the appointed auctioneer will be required to advertise the auction of former Office Holder cars in national newspapers.
