The person named commenced REPS 4 in June 2008 and received payments for the first three years of the contract.

REPS 4 is a measure under the current 2007-13 Rural Development Programme and accordingly is subject to EU Regulation which require detailed administrative checks on all applications to be completed before any payments can issue. Those administrative checks highlighted a discrepancy leading to an over-claim in relation to Natura land. As a consequence, a reduction penalty will apply to the payment to the person named. A letter outlining the nature of this penalty will issue shortly and, in the meantime, the claim will be processed further and payment will issue shortly.
