I have to inform the Deputy that there would be no savings in respect of the Justice, Garda, Prisons, Courts and Property Registration Votes, as there are no semi-state bodies paid from these Votes.

There are no commercial semi State bodies under the aegis of my Department. The Civil Defence Board, Army Pensions Board and Board of Coiste an Asgard come under the aegis of the Department. None of the staff employed are on salary scales which exceed â¬100,000, and therefore the question of a maximum salary cap of â¬100,000 does not arise.
