The person concerned should contact their local office of FÃS to verify the reasons that that they are ineligible to participate in the community employment programme. The eligible criteria are published by FÃS and are available locally. As Minister for Social Protection I do not have a role in determining the eligibility of individual cases in regard to the operation of CE. The administration of individual cases and the determination of eligibility is the responsibility of FÃS as part of its responsibility under the Labour Services Act 1987 as amended by Part 3 of the Social Welfare (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2010.
