The Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority is an independent statutory authority responsible for the enforcement of sea fisheries and food safety law. The information sought by the Deputy is a matter for the Authority. However, the Department has forwarded the request to the SFPA for its consideration and for a direct reply to the Deputy.
