Question 852: To ask the Minister for Transport in respect of any State-owned enterprise under the aegis of his Department, when they received the most recent annual report of that company; the date on which the Department approved the annual report; and to provide the same information for the previous financial year. The information requested by the Deputy is set out in the following tables. Table 1 lists the Annual Reports received for 2009 while Table 2 lists the Annual Reports received for 2008. There is no statutory requirement for the Annual Reports of the bodies under the aegis of my Department to be approved by the Department. They are noted by Government and in turn laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas.
