Question 652: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if he will grant approval to proceed to preliminary report stage with a sewerage scheme (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12549/10]

The Lough Leane Catchment Sewerage Scheme (Killarney) was included in my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2007 â 2009 and the scheme is at the planning stage. A decision will be notified to Kerry County Council as soon as possible in light of the finalisation of the Water Services Investment Programme for 2010-2012 which I expect to publish shortly.

The Castleisland Sewerage Scheme Stage 2 was included in my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2007 â 2009 and the scheme is at the planning stage. A decision will be notified to Kerry County Council as soon as possible in light of the finalisation of the Water Services Investment Programme for 2010-2012 which I expect to publish shortly.
