The Gort Regional Water Supply Scheme is included for funding in my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2007 – 2009. Following Galway County Council's submission of its tender report and recommendations for this scheme to my Department last month, the Council was recently requested to submit additional information to enable the Department to finalise its consideration of the report. The revised tender report will be dealt with as quickly as possible on its receipt by my Department.
