Question 184: To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if all farmers who applied for farm improvement grants have been informed that their application is being processed or have been informed that their application is not being considered; the number of applications by regional office that are not being processed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The 12,675 applications received by my Department under the Farm Improvement Scheme prior to its suspension for new applications on 31 October 2007 are being processed up to the level of funding provided for the Scheme in line with the 2006 Partnership agreement, Towards 2016.
