Question 369: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if his Department has issued guidelines, will issue guidelines or will offer a view to a local authority in connection with the local criteria planning requirement for a one off rural house, where an applicant lives adjacent to a county boundary and is seeking planning permission on a site which complies with the council's required distance but where the applicant lives just outside the county boundary; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have no plans to issue any further or supplementary guidance to planning authorities on rural housing.
