The Kilmallock Sewerage Scheme is included in my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2005-2007 as a scheme to commence construction in 2007. My Department is awaiting submission of Limerick County Council's detailed design and contract documents for the scheme.

The Monaghan Town Sewerage Scheme is included in my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2005-2007, at an estimated cost of â¬26.8m. Monaghan County Council's Preliminary Report for the scheme was approved by my Department in June 2005. The submission of the Council's Contract Documents for the scheme is awaited.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 594 to 596, inclusive, together.
The wastewater schemes for Ballybay, Castleblaney and Clones are being advanced as a grouped project under my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2005-2007 at an overall estimated cost of â¬6.63m. I approved Monaghan County Council's brief for the appointment of consultants to prepare a Preliminary Report for the project in February 2006 and the submission of the Preliminary Report is now awaited.

The Mallow/Ballyviniter Regional Water Supply Scheme is included in my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2005-2007 at an estimated cost of â¬8.4m. I recently approved Cork County Council's Preliminary Report for the scheme. Details of the proposed source may be obtained from the Council.
