I am aware of a proposal by the Health Service Executive, HSE, to construct a primary health care centre in Mulhuddart, Dublin 15. I am also aware of a proposal by a private medical group to open a primary care centre in Mulhuddart and the intention of its promoters that it should be available to both public and private patients. The responsibility for the provision of health services in the Mulhuddart area rests with the HSE. I welcome any increase in the provision of primary health care services in the Mulhuddart area.

The Deputy's question relates to the management and delivery of health and personal social services, which are the responsibility of the Health Service Executive under the Health Act 2004. Accordingly, my Department has requested the parliamentary affairs division of the executive to arrange to have this matter investigated and to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.
