Question 231: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the amount her Department paid out in 2003 for car mileage expenses; and the separate amount paid to cover rail or bus ticket expenses. [3172/04]

The total amount paid by my Department for car mileage expenses in 2003 was â¬352,291. In addition, a total of â¬106,367 was paid in respect of other modes of transport such as taxis, bus or rail.
