Question 207: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the progress made to date in regard to his consideration of the report of the health research board study commissioned by his Department into the likely effects of landfill and thermal treatment; the specific steps he intends to take to deal with the finding in the report that Ireland had insufficient resources to carry out adequate risk assessments for proposed waste management facilities; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
