An Leas-Chathaoirleach:

I have received notice from Senator Morrissey that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

An Leas-Chathaoirleach:

The need for the Minister for Transport to make a statement on the number of licence applications received from Dublin Bus and private operators for new routes and extensions to existing routes, and the time delay in issuing such licences.

An Leas-Chathaoirleach:

I have also received notice from Senator Quinn of the following matter:

An Leas-Chathaoirleach:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to outline the reasons for the reported instruction to schools by the National Educational Welfare Board to do nothing in regard to systems geared to reducing truancy.

An Leas-Chathaoirleach:

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
