I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:

Senator Sharon Keogan - The need for the Minister for Justice to make a statement on the timeline for the construction and delivery of the Thornton Hall prison facility.

Senator Mike Kennelly - The need for the Minister for Justice to make a statement on the community CCTV scheme and plans to ensure it is available in all towns and villages.

Senator Mary Fitzpatrick - The need for the Minister for Justice to make a statement on the timeline for the Government to publish a retail crime strategy.

Senator Laura Harmon - The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the number and location of linear accelerator machines for radiation therapy in active use and the actions being taken to ensure timely therapy for patients.

Senator Maria McCormack - The need for the Minister for Social Protection to make a statement on the abolition of the carer's allowance means test.

Senator Nessa Cosgrove - The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to make a statement on the types of land that will be affected by EU regulations on good agricultural and environmental condition, GAEC 2, and the likely geographical location of such lands.

Senator Eileen Lynch - The need for the Minister for Justice to make a statement on the establishment of a stakeholders' forum for licensed firearms holders.

Senator Linda Nelson Murray - The need for the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science to include the furniture industry in the apprenticeship programme.

The matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion. I have selected Senators Keogan, Kennelly, Fitzpatrick and Harmon and they will be taken now. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
