I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:

Senator Seán Kyne - The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to outline the reason so many farmers have to repay moneys under the agri-climate rural environment scheme.

Senator Paul Gavan - The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the claim of nursing staff shortages made by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

Senator Eileen Flynn - The need for the Minister for Justice to make a statement on her future plans to reach consensus on the hate speech sections of the Criminal Justice (Incitement to Violence or Hatred and Hate Offences) Bill 2022.

Senator John Cummins - The need for the Minister for Social Protection to make a statement on the deployment of staff to the civil registration offices in both Waterford city and Dungarvan, County Waterford, in order to operate a full service.

Senator Fiona O'Loughlin - The need for the Minister for Rural and Community Development to make a statement on the sale proceeds from Ó Modhráin Hall, Newbridge, County Kildare being transferred to Conradh na Gaelige.

Of the matters raised by the Senators that are suitable for discussion, I have selected those raised by Senators Seán Kyne, Paul Gavan, Eileen Flynn and John Cummins and they will be taken now. I regret that I had to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator Fiona O'Loughlin on the ground that the Minister has no official responsibility in the matter.
