I wish to announce to the House that on 10 July 2024, An Taoiseach nominated Nikki Bradley, with her prior consent, to fill the casual vacancy in the number of nominated Members of Seanad Éireann caused by the resignation of Regina Doherty. It gives me great pleasure to welcome our new Senator and colleague, Nikki Bradley, to the House and to warmly congratulate her on her appointment.
