Senator Tim Lombard - The need for the Minister for Education to review the process of assessing applications and the eligibility criteria for the assistive technology grant.

Senator Lynn Boylan - The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to amend the Animal Health and Welfare Act to provide that horses seized on welfare grounds can be re-homed.

Senator Erin McGreehan - The need for the Minister for Tourism, Culture. Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media to make a statement on the provision of funding to support inclusive and accessible tourism.

Senator Robbie Gallagher - The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to make a statement on the industrial action planned by the retained fire service and the current issues within the service.

Senator Malcolm Byrne - The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on proposals to ensure parity in pay, terms and conditions between staff in section 38 and 39 organisations in the health service.

The matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion. I have selected Senators Aisling Dolan, Tim Lombard, Lynn Boylan and Erin McGreehan and they will be taken now. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters that they wish to raise.
