Before proceeding further, on behalf of the Members of the House, I welcome US Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and a great friend of mine, Fr. Joseph McGilloway, who are visiting us from Alaska. Senator Murkowski, as the Members will know, is a five-time Senator; the daughter of former Senator and Governor, Frank Murkowski, and the first Alaskan-born Member of Congress from the state of Alaska. She is here as part of a pilgrimage with Fr. McGilloway, who has been a friend of mine for more than 30 years and ministers in the state of Alaska. They are both very welcome.
