I want to speak on amendments Nos. 173 and 174. To add in these lines will only strengthen the Bill. They are simple and short measures, but it is important that they would be added. I compliment the Irish Heart Foundation, which many of us met during the pre-legislative scrutiny phase., on the work it has done and for the interest it has taken in this Bill in the interests of children's health. I would be fully supportive of adding in these small amendments, which strengthen the Bill.

On alcohol, I said yesterday - and Senator Black has just said - that the reality is that the promotion of alcohol is in the palms of the hands of children by allowing it to be advertised on the phones. That is an analogy we need to be cognisant of when we make decisions. If we do not put this in the Bill, we will allow our children to face that advertising 24-7.
