The Institute for Future Media Democracy and Society in DCU called attention to the lack of reference to disinformation in the Bill. It noted that the implementation of the codes of practice around disinformation were within the remit of the media commission.The Minister has acknowledged that it will be the digital services co-ordinator but it felt it was appropriate that provisions be made in the general scheme of the Bill at that time. At the very least, I will ask whether we will need to revisit this legislation in the future when the Digital Services Act, DSA, is complete. Could the Minister give me guidance on that?
