It took me 20 years to get back on my bike. Senator Cassells looks okay after his first trip. With regard to bike promotion, I wish to emphasise that every bike takes a car off the roads.I am a driver as much as a cyclist, but I ask people to think of the bicycle when they are driving. On the way in I encountered five vehicles in cycle lanes. Equally, two people opened their doors in front of me and apologised to me. We just need people to be conscious of people cycling.
