I have received notice from Senator Joe O'Reilly that, on the motion for the Commencement of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Environment, Climate Action and Communications to make a statement on the development of a green hydrogen industry in Ireland.

I have also received notice from Senator Eugene Murphy of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to provide an update on the provision of additional bed units at Sacred Heart Hospital, County Roscommon, and Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, County Galway.

I have also received notice from Senator Seán Kyne of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the delivery of a new emergency department for University Hospital Galway.

I have also received notice from Senator Victor Boyhan of the following matter:

The need for Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to make a statement on the remit, status and funding of the National Parks and Wildlife Service.

I have also received notice from Senator Rónán Mullen of the following matter:

The need for Minister for Health to make a statement on the procurement process undertaken for the appointment of an independent chair of the review of the operation of the Health (Regulation of Termination of Pregnancy) Act 2018.

I have also received notice from Senator Niall Ó Donnghaile of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Foreign Affairs to make a statement on the findings of the Operation Greenwich report published by the Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland earlier this month.

I have also received notice from Senator Erin McGreehan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Environment, Climate Action and Communications to make a statement on the deposit return scheme.

I have also received notice from Senator Mary Seery Kearney of the following matter:

The need for the Minister of State with responsibility for public health, well-being and the national drugs strategy to make a statement on the need to add nitrous oxide to the statutory list of controlled substances.

I have also received notice from Senator Barry Ward of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport to provide support and funding for the maintenance and rehabilitation of Dublin harbours, in particular, Dún Laoghaire, Bulloch and Colliemore harbours.

Of the matters raised by the Senators suitable for discussion, I have selected Senators O'Reilly, Murphy, Kyne and Boyhan and they will be taken now. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters that they wish to raise.
