I move amendment No. 32:

In page 7, to delete lines 21 to 25 and substitute the following: “(7) For the purposes of subsection (2)(a), in considering whether or not the development plan with the proposed extension of the duration would be likely to have a significant effect on a European site, either individually or in combination with other plans or projects, a planning authority shall carry out a screening for appropriate assessment in accordance with section 177U.”.

This is a simple amendment to ensure that the planning authority shall carry out a screening for appropriate assessment.
