I genuinely thank the Minister because he has sat here for many hours and listened. That makes a big difference. We do not know exactly what the Minister is proposing but we take it in good faith. I hear what he is saying. I know he has certainly listened and I thank him for that. I also thank the Members across the House because this has been a really good debate. There are conflicts. When I first thought about amendment No. 2, I felt there were difficulties with it but when I worked it through and talked to so many others and had it endorsed, I knew it was the right thing. I thank the Minister for the spirit in which has engaged with us here today. Clearly, he has a lot more thinking to do about this and must get more advice and engage in consultation but I wish him well in this regard. If the measure is approved by the Dáil, I have no doubt it will be back here. Valuable contributions were made by everyone. That indicates how complex this whole issue is. I get a sense that the Minister has picked up on the complexity, diversity and divergence, yet the central theme is ultimately justice and support for the great survivors of these horrible tragedies and travesties. I thank the Minister genuinely and sincerely for listening and for his response to this debate.
