I move:

That, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders, and subject to its passage at second stage, it be an instruction to the Committee of the whole Seanad, in relation to the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Bill 2020, that the Committee has power to make amendments to the Bill for the purpose of amending section 3A of the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) and Ministerial, Parliamentary, Judicial and Court Offices (Amendment) Act 1998 in relation to allowances payable to certain Ministers of State; and to make other consequential amendments required to take account of such amendment.”
