During the Troubles in the North, soldiers committed crimes, including murders. The Stormont House Agreement is the framework to provide truth and reconciliation to those affected by the Troubles. It would appear the British Prime Minister and the Conservative Party are undermining that agreement. I ask that the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade be invited to the House for a debate on the legacy issues of the past. With the political vacuum in the North it is difficult to implement some of the requirements of the Stormont House Agreement but we should discuss those legacy issues in this House. I ask the Leader to try to facilitate a debate on that matter prior to Christmas.
