I move amendment No. 24:

In page 42, line 28, after “regulations” to insert the following:

“(which shall include but is not limited to persons, whether established in the State or otherwise, who provide for consideration advertising, agency or management services in respect of short-term lettings)”.

We plan to withdraw the amendment with a view to resubmitting it on Report Stage. Deputy Humphreys is particularly concerned about this aspect of practice in the housing sector. He is anxious to liaise with the Minister and his officials on this, if that is in order, before we resubmit the amendment on Report Stage. If the Minister could consider that and if contract could be made with the Senator on that, that would be appreciated.
