The Minister, Deputy Flanagan, acknowledges that he is a guest in this House and not badgering individual Members to vote for use of the guillotine or the like. He regards this House as being the master of its own fate. I can assure him, however, that strong pressure was brought to bear on many Members of this House, not by him but by someone at Government level.
