To be fair, it is not as if I want to hear people on my side speaking while not allowing others to make a contribution. I spoke to representatives of all the groupings yesterday. The decision we have made is based on our desire to complete the debates on all Stages of an important Bill which is giving effect to the vote of the people in a referendum. I would not have pursued that approach or proceeded in this way if there was an objection to the proposal, or if there was not a majority in favour of it. We saw what happened yesterday.
